Fun in Houston at the Zoo and the Park!

While we were in Houston for Thanksgiving, we headed to the Houston Zoo. The girls had fun, despite the crowds! We were also able to take advantage of a great park in John's parents' neighborhood.

Happy Turkey Day!

This Thanksgiving we headed to John's parents in Houston. We had a great time visiting with John's family, got to eat some yummy food and the girls had so much fun wrestling with their uncles!


Ella helped me make the place cards for the table. I think everyone liked the personal touch to their seat! Thanksgiving morning we bundled up and went to the parade in downtown Houston. It was freezing, but the girls had a blast! Ella's favorite was the street sweepers who followed all the horses (yes, I'm serious) and Audrey loved the inflatable star balloon that was one of the first things in the parade resulting in a continuous whine for the star balloon to return as we watched the rest of the parade! It was a fun way to start off the day!

Thanksgiving at the Hyatt Hill Country

This Thanksgiving, the Warren Clan headed to the Hyatt Hill Country in San Antonio. My parents flew in from Florida and my sister's family all flew in from Amarillo. We had the BEST time together enjoying the perfect weather and the great features the resort had to offer, going to Sea World, exploring the zoo, riding ponies, going on carriage rides and getting to see Santa. Ella and Wyatt had a blast having slumber parties each night in Mimi and Papa J's room and Audrey and Jessica were troopers as they enjoyed long days in the Baby Bjorns!!

I am so thankful for my husband, my children, my parents, and my sister and her family. Even though we all live apart, we were so blessed to be able to meet up and spend the holiday together! Thanks to Mom and Dad for the great trip!
