A new community ice rink opened up in Allen and Ella is taking a little five week "Intro to Ice Skating" class. It is just about the cutest thing you've ever seen! It is for ages 3-5, so Ella is right in the middle. This week was her first class and she was all smiles, despite some wet knees and a wet behind! Even when she fell, she would look up and smile at us. I honestly think she did better than I would have done out on the ice! The kids have to wear helmets just in case and gloves so their hands don't get too cold when they fall. There was also 4 teachers for 7 kids, however we agreed they may need a few more! We're thinking a few more years from now she'll be ready for the junior olympics!
